Ulasiman or olasiman is the Filipino/Tagalog name for portulaca oleracea, a succulent green herb known by one of its common name, purslane. Ulasiman or olasiman grows in the wild and can be often spotted growing in wastelands, or in dry, uncared for soil by the roadsides. Ulasiman or purslane thrives even in this condition making this succulent plant a perfect fit for a succulent garden or when you have little time to spend out gardening but still loves having plants around.
